East Pierce Fire Fighters will receive body armor for escalated threat response. Fire Commissioners approved the purchase of 32 individual body armor jackets for $76,000 to protect fire fighters responding to active violent events.
Pierce County Professional Firefighters accepted the 1st place overall local fundraising award today at the 2017 Washington State Council of Firefighters Education Seminar.
