Spokane Valley Firefighters, IAFF Local 876, joined the IAFF on July 29, 1946.
The Spokane Valley Firefighters serves the cities of Spokane Valley, Liberty Lake, Millwood and the unincorporated areas of Spokane County including the communities of Otis Orchards, Pasadena Park and the area surrounding Liberty Lake, with a combined population of 125,000 across approximately 75 square miles.
Established in 1940, the Department operates 10 stations providing fire suppression, emergency medical services, technical rescue, vehicle extrication, hazardous materials response, swift water rescue, fire investigation, fire prevention, commercial property inspection, CPR and fire safety training. We also offer free smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors.
